Client: Large Retailer

Our client is a food wholesale operator, offering branded and private label goods to over 400,000 customers, including independent convenience stores, grocers, pubs, and restaurants throughout the UK.

What is the project?

Frontline Security 24/7 Ltd was approached by the client to provide a bespoke security solution to prevent wagons from being burgled whilst making deliveries to its customers. Each Burglary was costing the company between £20,000 – £80,000 per burglary.

What Solutions can/did we offer?

Frontline Security presented 2 options ot the client

1.     A Security team to travel with the Drivers and guard the wagon whilst making its deliveries.

2.     A Security Vehicle to follow the delivery trucks until the wagon had completed it deliveries.

What was the result when solutions were implemented?

It was agreed to deploy a fleet of branded vehicles to follow the wagons whilst they had their valuable stock on board. Frontline also worked with the local police and became a part of Operation Ash. Within the first few weeks we successfully deterred a few attempts on burglaries along with the help and prompt response of the Police. The project ran for 6 months with a total of 4 incidents reported. This was a 93.8% reduction in incidents equating to a £2.4m saving for the company.
